Xiaomi announced yesterday that it will hold a conference on April 19 to officially release Mi 6 phone. The industry insider, @MocaRQ, disclosed that Xiaomi Mi6 screen size remains at 5.2 inches, dual-camera, fingerprint sensor that is embedded underneath the glass in front much like Mi 5s but no longer using ultrasonic. As for Mi 6 Plus, it is even more amazing, @MocaRQ said its design concept is similar to Mi MIX, in another words, the Mi 6 Plus could be using edge-to-edge display.
This afternoon, an online user @GrownSSPer shows a leaked picture of Mi 6 Plus on Weibo, thus basically confirmed statements from @MocaRQ.
The phone design in the leaked picture is completely different from previous Mi 6, and closely resemble Xiaomi Mi MIX, so it is highly possible a Mi 6 Plus.
The picture also shows that the phone is using a front fingerprint sensor and not under glass design, it also provides a single “Home” button, much like Mi 5. The phone body is relatively thick and the material is suspected to be ceramic. Furthermore, the interface used is USB Type-C. Xiaomi Mi6 Plus Storage will be Ram 6GB and Rom 128GB.
